After two years of marriage, my husband and I wanted
to start a family. We had tried to conceive for a full year with no luck. We went to
the doctor and both of us went through a battery of tests. The test results showed that nothing was wrong
with us. They called it unexplained infertility.Every month that we did not conceive, my heart would break. It was devastating
not being able to do one of the most natural things in the world. My parents told me of a place where miracles have happened.
They attended church at Servants of Mary monthly. My husband
and I attended Mass, and afterward prayed together. It was the first time we had ever prayed as a couple. I figured what better
person to ask to intercede to Jesus on our behalf was his own mother. I also felt that as a woman, as a mother, Mary understood
the heartbreak I was going through.I believe my big test was not being able to conceive a child. I kept praying, going to
the shrine, and asking Mary’s intercession. After a year and a half, I was finally pregnant. Unfortunately
we miscarried our first child. I will never understand after everything we had already been through why this happened.
I chose to have faith, and while grieving, I continued to ask for Mary’s
help. It was the lowest point of my life. I wanted to be a mother more than anything. Months later, we had finally conceived
twins! I truly believe this was a miracle. In my heart, I believe I would never be a mother to biological children. I believe
my pleas to Mary for help was answered. We continue to go to the shrine to give thanks and praise with our two miracles.
It is a special place to us, and one that my children know. My daughter has a special connection with Mary. When
she was two, she carried an outdoor, dirty, plastic statue of Mary and brought it into the house. She would hug the statue
and talk to it. I cleaned the statue and let my daughter have it. At the age of four and a half that statue of Mary still
remains on my daughter’s nightstand. I think on some level she is aware of Mary’s hand in bringing her and her
brother into our family.

My name
is Amelia Reyna. I'm a native of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Since 1995 I have been in Ohio with my family,
my husband and four children. In 2001 I began to work in a factory. I worked there for 5 1/2 years. On
the 28th of September of 2004 in the morning I was working and injured my lower back and right leg. I suffered so much
and the doctor's couldn't find anything wrong. I couldn't sweep or even dust my house because of the great pain that
I felt. So I spent years taking pills and not even able to do the least things because of my terrible pain.
I always implored my Father in heaven "Father, please, if it be your will, please give me a cure" while
asking for intercession of the Blessed Mother before her Son. The day of the 27th of June 2009 I came to visit the
Shrine of Our Virgin of Guadalupe. Four days later I noticed that miraculously the terrible pain in my lower back and leg
disappeared completely.
From then on I have been able to work well and don't need to take any kind of medication.
I give thanks to our powerful Mother for her intercession before her Son. I am now cured. Glory be to God!

Joe Vincenzo's Story
Advisory Board Member
My name is Joseph Vincenzo. I live in Ashtabula, Ohio with my
family and children. My first visit to the grounds of the Servants of Mary was in July of 1996 when I first walked the grounds
around what struck me as the most spectacular and beautiful statues of the Holy Mother and her son Jesus that I had ever seen.
As I walked around looking up at the statue and unexplainable feeling of peace and love came over me. The deep serenity
that I felt in viewing the wonderful statuary and grounds drew me back several times all the way from north Ashtabula.
Not long after my initial visit to the grounds of the Servants
of Mary I was diagnosed with a stomach disease called "shoskie ring". To treat the disorder the doctor informed
me that he would need to stretch my stomach three to four times a year. Not long after the first time this procedure was done,
when I returned to the grounds of the Servants of Mary, I asked the Holy Mother to ask God to heal my stomach. When I looked
up, I felt that Mary was directing me to Jesus as if to say, "Pray to my son".
My testimony is that ever since this time I have not been to the doctor for my stomach
condition. This was ten years ago! That is the miracle that was given to me through the gratitude and for the sake of the
whole community benefiting from the ground of the Servants of Mary. I now return often, sometimes with help from my family,
as a groundskeeper, mowing the lawn and doing other things to help keep the grounds beautiful and to help it prosper for others
to enjoy as I do.
God Bless,
Joseph Vincenzo
