Recent Events Christian Recording Artists Margo B. Smith & Bernie Antkowiakto in Concert at Shrine on June 12th Singer-songwriters Margo B. Smith and Bernie Antkowiakto appeared live in concert at the Servants of Mary Center for Peace on Saturday, June 12th, 2010 at 7:00 pm.  They performed a medley of heart-moving songs from their CD's.  Margo’s latest release is SENDING UP A PRAYER. Smith and Bernie Antkowiak share God’s message through their music and have played for Christian coffee houses, prayer breakfasts, Pro-Life events, fundraisers, healing services, Marriage Encounter events, and Reconciliation services. Together they produced the cd, CARRY ON.  Simple Celebration of the Season Saturday, December 12, 2009 A Feastday Celebration was held to commemorate the Feastday of Our Lady of Guadupe.  Several groups came to Our Blessed Mother.  From 1 - 4 in the chapel, the picture of the Tilma was display amid beautiful flowers, the rosary was recited, the story of Juan Diego was told, Christmas songs were sung, the Divine Mercy Chaplet was sung, and Deacon Ed told stories about prayers answered at the Shrine and the Christmas miracle story of St. John Neumann of Philadelphia. October 3, 2009 Celebration of Life & Light Servants of Mary Center for Peace was honored to host Bishop George Murry of Youngstown on October 3, 2009.  Bishop Murry celebrated Mass in Spanish, accompanied by the singers from St. Mary's Parish in Painesville.  Fr. Mel Rusnak of Assumption Parish in Geneva. concelebrated and gave bendiction.  Divine Mercy Chaplet, Rosary, Eucharistic Procession and Adoration were also held.  Deacon Ed Heinz gave a special talk about Our Lady of Guadalup & the Shrine.  See Celebration of Life and Light website.
